PR SUMEDANG - Pandemi Covid-19 tak menyurutkan acara penghargaan Golden Globe Awards 2021 untuk batal digelar, meski industri perfilman dunia dalam setahun terakhir sedang terpuruk.
Pagelaran penghargaan film terbesar di dunia ini telah masuk tahun ke-78, nominasi Golden Globe Awards 2021 telah diumumkan pada Rabu pagi, waktu setempat.
Untuk pertama kalinya dalam sejarah Golden Globe, nominasi diumumkan secara virtual, mengikuti langkah-langkah keamanan saat ini selama pandemi.

Film Mank memimpin di hampir semua nominasi, sementara The Crown menduduki puncak nominasi serial televisi, yang masing-masing mendapatkan enam nominasi.
Nominasi teratas lainnya, yakni film The Trial of the Chicago 7 mendapatkan lima nominasi, serta film The Father, Nomadland, dan Promising Young Woman, dengan empat orang masing-masing aktor dari film tersebut juga mendapatkan nominasi.
Di serial televisi, Schitt's Creek yang mendominasi kategori serial komedi Emmy tahun lalu, kali ini mengikuti jejak The Crown, yang mendapatkan lima nominasi.

Sementara Ozark dan The Undoing masing-masing mendapatkan empat nominasi.
Untuk acara puncak penganugerahaannya, Golden Globe Awards ke-78 akan berlangsung pada 28 Februari, yang akan dipandu oleh Tina Fey dan Amy Poehler.
